HOW I CAME TO DO WHAT I DO
It's a cliché story about a little girl who enjoyed drawing lots and turned out pretty good at it! I studied BA Illustration at Manchester School of Art and then spent the majority of my twenties travelling the world. Having lived in places such as Hong Kong, Spain and Australia, temporarily seeing much more, these experiences helped shape me, my outlook on life and realise the potential for my artwork to gift me the freedoms other careers could not.
In the final year of my BA I created commissioned portraiture and thus my little business grew from there. This was quieter whilst I travelled more but upon returning to the UK I decided to focus my attentions. After studying MA Design; Illustration & Art Direction at Manchester School of Art I felt I had a clear vision of what it is I wanted to accomplish. Creating artwork for others to enjoy gives me joy and purpose, so thank you for your trust and support!
